    Summary :

    Aditi Sharma is working as Assistant Professor at Department of Petroleum Engineering, School of Technology, Glocal University. She has done her B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from SRM University, Chennai. Aditi has done M.Tech in Petroleum Science and Technology from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahti in 2015. She had Qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) twice in 2015 and 2013 with AIR - 397 and 713 respectively. During 2009 to 2015 she has received several scholarships. She has received MHRD Government of India scholarship during M.Tech course from July 2013 to July 2015. In addition, she was also awarded with SRM University merit scholarship four times from August 2009 to May 2013 and had received SRM University performance based scholarship twice from July 2010 to May 2011 and from July 2012 to May 2013. In 2009 she was awarded with Amul Vidhya Bhushan for securing 1st position at District level in board examination.

    Her major area of research includes characterization of crude oils, chemicals based enhanced oil recovery by core flooding experiments, optimum slug composition and analysis of ultralow interfacial tension obtained. She has worked on De-colorization of solution containing Reactive Blue by Adsorption Technique and compared the adsorption capacities using Clamshell and Bagasse Fly ash Powder as adsorbent.

    She had presented several papers at national level conferences. She had also won 3rd price for paper presentation in MATMET a national level Symposium held at Chennai in 2012. Additionally, she had also attended ASPEN workshop conducted in chem-clave at Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2012. Apart from this, she was actively involved in Aaruush a national level Techno-Management Fest organized by SRM University as member and volunteer in Hospitality from 2009 to 2012. She was active member in Reflux a national level Techno-Culture fest held at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2015.

    In addition, Aditi was teaching assistant for Refinery Process Design and Optimization Technique in Chemical Engineering Department, IIT Guwahati. She held the responsibility as placement representative in IIT Guwahati form july 2014 to july 2015. Apart from academic she had received Rajya Puraskar award by Bharat scouts and guide in 2008. Additionally, she was State player of Tennis and represented her district twice at state level in 2006 and 2007.

    Research Interests

    Major areas of research are Characterization of crude oil and determine ultralow interfacial tension. Alkali, surfactant, polymer and their combination based enhanced oil recovery by core flooding experiments. Determine ultralow interfacial tension and optimum slug composition.
